What I Ate Wednesday #4

Peas and Crayons
Are you tired of seeing what I eat on Wednesdays?  Should I change it up and do different days but keep it posted on Wednesdays?  I feel like since I'm always at work on Wednesdays that it might get boring.  Let me know what you think.   I'm always open to suggestions :)  And on with the link up with Peas and Crayons:

You'd think that with as much Chobani as I eat that I might get tired of it.  Nope.  Not a chance.  I love this stuff.  I tweet Chobani all the time in hopes that they'll fall in love with me and send me free Chobani.  I even tweet cute pictures of my kids eating Chobani.  So far, no luck.  I'm not done trying though.  I did not get to make my granola the other day so I stuck with an old friend, Kashi GoLean Crunch.  I forgot how good this stuff is!

For lunch I had leftover Pad Thai that I MADE for dinner last night.  That was no takeout folks.  Everything was homemade except the rice noodles.  I mean that would be crazy if I could make those.  I used the recipe that I linked on Sunday.  It was delicious!

Um yeah.  So I had Starbucks twice today.  I'm a little embarrassed about it.  But here's why it happened and it's totally not my fault!  I was out in the store chatting with one of our elderly patients that LOVES to talk.  Apparently while I was gone, one of the techs who is my adopted little brother went to go get Starbucks.  Since he couldn't find me he just went ahead and bought me a drink.  See, not my fault.  The second cup is Josh's fault because he wanted me to get him some Starbucks on the way home from work.  How could I not get something for myself?

I rest my case.

And yes, I need a manicure.

Grown ups need snacks too.  Behold the might Biscoff cookie and some Boom Chicka Pop.  Can you say that without smiling?  Doubt it.  Both snacks are equally amazing.

There's that fancy nail polish again.  Classy.

For dinner I made chili that is our tried and true recipe.  It's always yummy and it was perfect for our cold weather.  Lexi and Lyla had requested strawberry shortcake for dessert so I could not refuse.  I did not end up eating that disgusting shortcake.  It tasted stale and like processed cardboard.  What was I thinking?  But the strawberries and cream were a perfect treat.

Speaking of the perfect treat....

I have not put a lot of pictures of my girls up here because I don't want to bore any of y'all.  But they are just so cute.  I know you love them too.

I bet you are wishing you were a twin or had twins right about now.  They have that effect on people. Sigh.

  1. I for one can not believe Chobani has yet to send you a case. I mean, just that picture of your little girl alone I can't help but "awee"!!

    1. I know right? ;) Thank you for the support. One of these days Chobani will get it. Maybe even feature us in a commercial.

  2. Your kids are adorable. Chobani should totally hook them up. I could eat Cho lemon or blood orange every day. I understand the addiction.

  3. Cute kids!!! I have posted and tweeted back and forth with Chobani, too, but haven't asked for a box since I wouldn't be able to eat it all. But I'd definitely share! I've *heard* that if you send them a nice little raving email, you'll have luck with a shipment. ;)

    1. Thanks Beka! I really rather they send the free stuff to people that need it but it sure would be cool to have them offer ;) Plus, I tried the new coffee Chobani Bite and it was gross.
