#MotivationalMonday/#MoveItMonday

Yes, that is my foot.  Yes, I will be better.  I'm coming to terms with the fact that I am injured.  I'll talk more about it later but I do want to let everyone know that I will be better.  This is a momentary set back in the plans I have for myself.  If you are injured right now, you have to know that you will be better.  Just remember that.

Since I'm clearly not going to be doing a lot of leg exercises, it's time to focus on my core.  I really like this workout because it focuses on 2 areas that I really want to tone up:  my arms and abs.  I'd love for y'all to share any core exercises with me that you like!

Have a great week everybody!

    1. Thanks for the vibes! It's a stress fracture that is hopefully healing!

  2. Having popped over from SUAR's blog...I see.

Trust me, I've been there. Here? There. [Stress fractured one of mine three...yes, THREE...times. Long story.] Once you're off it, it will start to heal. Don't get discouraged - mine always feel: same, same, same, WHOA waaaaay better!, same, same, same, HEY! I just took a step that didn't hurt!.

In the meantime, maybe lots and lots of knee push-ups? :)

    1. Hey bud, I was there. That was the day that I knew I had to go to the ortho for my foot. I ended up walking most of it because I was in so much pain. Nothing stopping me from my snowflake medal though ;) I hope to see you at another race soon! I'm registered for Germantown but I'm hoping my ortho clears me for it.

    1. I think the stress fracture had been there for about a month. I ran the half on it somehow. You know us pharmacists don't get breaks ;) I'm working on it. I'm the PIC so I can't abandon my crew. I have a stool that I *try* to sit on but you know that doesn't happen much.

  6. So sorry you are hurt! Good for you for focusing on your core though--I am loving all the core work I've been doing in pilates. It can really make you feel so strong!
