Have you ever read a blog that makes you feel crappy about yourself? Well, this isn't that type of blog. I've never hid the fact that I'm unorganized or that I struggle with untimely laziness. If you have the same affliction, you've come to the right place, because Sunday's are now all about the GYST:
It's can't be a coincidence that it's been 2 weeks since I've posted a Sunday GYST and 2 weeks since I've gotten anything done. I'm amazed that putting my intentions out there can truly motivate me like it does. I guess that's my fear of disappointing people shining through. Anyway, I'm back with another round of The Sunday GYST, so let's see what I have planned for this week!
Lexi and Lyla are on fall break this week, so I'm really excited to get to spend some time with them on my days off. I still have quite a bit of stuff to do, but I'll be taking advantage of some nice weather to hang out with my girls outside. We might try and take them to a local farm for some pumpkin picking. I also have to get my house ready for me to be gone the following week for Ragnar! I'm so excited, but I'd like to get packed up earlier than the day of like I did last year. I still haven't cleaned up my bathroom like I had planned a couple weeks ago so that is a MUST this week!
I've done a fairly horrible job lately of cooking, so this week will be a return to the kitchen. I'm not planning on anything remarkable, although I would like to try Jen's recipe, maybe for lunch on Tuesday! I have so many recipes saved in Pinterest, and I think it's time for an overhaul since I always go back to the same ones. Do you have some recipes that you love? Please share! I'm in a recipe rut!
After a shittastic week of training this previous week (come back Tuesday for more info), I'm ready to return to dominance. I even printed out some strength training workouts to add into my workouts. Now I just have to do them, but at least I'm on the right path. I hate that I had an off week, but I can't do anything about it now except come back renewed.
So that's it! I'll obviously balance all of my hard work with some relentless Parks and Recreation watching, and Once a Runner reading, but I'm ready to get to work. I hope you have a great week!
