Today I'll be linking up with Courtney from Eat Pray Run DC, Cynthia from You Signed Up For What?, and Mar from Mar On The Run for their Friday Five Link up! Every Friday, these lovely ladies host a huge link-up with a different theme. It's a perfect link-up for a lazy blogger like me.
This week's theme is Favorites, and of course I have a million. When you are obsessed with makeup and beauty products and running clothes and shoes and food and ALL THE THINGS like I am, this topic is easy peasy. The only hard part is narrowing down my favorites to just five! Nonetheless, here are my Five Things I'm Loving Right Now!
All Things Pop.
Oiselle has been releasing their Spring 2015 line, and one of the new colors is called Pop. It just so happens to be a gorgeous orange color that screams Tennessee! And since you all know that orange is my signature color, I have been drooling over every new item that shows up on the site. So far the Rogas and Flyte 2000 shirt have made it to me, but I'm pretty sure I can't stop won't stop.
It's not like I'm new to Twitter or anything, but I'm loving the ease of communication it provides. I know I haven't posted my recap from the Little Rock Marathon yet, but I had a lot of issues with nausea and vomiting (again). Friends from twitter came to my rescue and I'm now waiting on the snow to melt so I can go pick up a copy of Matt Fitzgerald's The New Rules of Marathon and Half Marathon Nutrition. Thank you to everyone who gave me such helpful advice!
Is there really anything more awesome than a nice, warm hoodie? They are kind of like a hug, but not like those creepy neck hugs that my techs at work were demonstrating the other day (I can't even). I confiscated one of Josh's old Tennessee hoodies the other day and now I don't want to take it off. And my Oiselle Trials hoodie gets ridiculous amounts of play time right now too.
OPI Ridge Filler.
My nails are a hot mess. Besides my always janky cuticles, my nails have ridges. Because I'm so tough on my nails with my job, I don't get manicures. It really pisses me off to spend my hard earned money on something that goes to shit a few days later. Shellac might last longer but I inevitably end up peeling it off. Therefore, I'm always on the hunt for good at-home manicure tools. I recently started using OPI Ridge Filler and it is amazing! Besides smoothing my nails, it also leaves a nice neutral sheen so that if my nails aren't polished, they still look nice.
Erica Sara Custom Mantra JoJo Necklace.
I've been wearing my Erica Sara 13.1 necklace daily for a long time now, and I think it's time to upgrade to a 26.2 necklace, especially after my rough going in Marathon #2 last weekend. I've been perusing her site lately trying to decide what style I wanted, and then this JoJo necklace landed recently. I am in love. I love the style and I love the ability to personalize it. I know I want one side to simply say "26.2", but I'm stuck on the other side. Truth be told, I love the "Fuck Limits" that she has pictured. It's like she made it for me. But I'm still thinking.
