Oiselle Wednesday: Roga Shorts

I might be a member of The Oiselle Flock, but I've been wearing Oiselle (pronounced Wa-Zelle) for several years now. Oiselle is a company with a mission I believe in, and running clothes that help me believe in myself. Oiselle Wednesday is a day for reviewing my favorite running fashions and showing you the fit on a 5'7, 130 pound Mommy-body!

So before I start telling you about my number one favorite shorts, I need to tell you something important from last week! I never told you the size I get in the Distance shorts, which is a medium in old sizing, 6 in new sizing. This is important for today's review.

Ah, The Roga. This is like the Mercedes of running shorts. They are the standard to which I compare all running shorts. The style, the fit, the colors...they are perfection to me. Today I will be discussing the regular Roga length, but they do come in 2 other lengths: the Mac Roga and the Long Roga

As you can see, the fit is loose around my thighs, which allows for a comfortable run for me. In order to get this fit, I size up in the Roga to a large or an 8 in the new sizing. Truth be told, a 6 would be a better fit for me waist wise, and butt wise, but I prefer these to fit me loose. Luckily these shorts have a great drawstring that allows me to tighten them so they don't fall down!

Another favorite feature of the Rogas is the butt fit. I love how these shorts make your backside look good, instead of like you have a load in there. Let me just show you:

The material that the Rogas are made of is very slinky and importantly, quick drying. So let's say you just PR'd a 5k and peed your shorts a little, it dries quickly so no one knows. Not that I have experience with that or anything.

I have now run every distance from a 5k to a marathon in Rogas, and I can't get enough of them. Yes I love my Distance shorts, but the Roga is number one for me.

At $46, I feel like the price point is outstanding, especially since I have had a couple pairs for over 2 years and they still look brand new! Don't tell anyone, but I would totally pay more for Rogas if Oiselle increased the price. They are simply that amazing. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
