This week we're chatting about blogs we read, and I decided to tell you about my favorite Food blogs. Sure, I mostly read running blogs, but there is no way I could narrow it down to just five. Plus I have developed legit friendships with running bloggers and I don't want to leave any of my friends out! These food blogs I'm going to tell you about are my go-to blogs for great, mostly healthy recipes!
This might be my absolute favorite food blog. Every recipe I have ever made from Kristin has turned out perfectly and tasted delicious. Plus the recipes are reasonably easy which is always a plus in my book. Kristin is also gluten free now, so if you are GF, I highly recommend you check her out!
This is a blog I've been using for recipes for a long time now. Another favorite for easy cooking, I love how Beth lists approximate costs of each recipe. Clearly based on the blog title, these are recipes that don't break the bank and I appreciate that!
I'm not going to lie, part of the reason I love this blog is because of the photography. Jessica is talented in the food photography department and it really draws me in. While some of her recipes might not be "healthy" or easy, every one I've ever made has been delicious.
It doesn't hurt that she is Kara Goucher's food guru, but Lottie is one of my new favorites. Even though I'm not a vegetarian, I do prefer a plant based diet which is what Lottie focuses on with her recipes. As a bit of a warning, some ingredients are atypical and might require a visit to Whole Foods or some place like that, but I can guarantee it will be worth it!
With a new cookbook, this blog is not updated frequently, but it was pretty much made for me: Delicious recipes with "shits" and "fucks" thrown around like yours truly. I haven't gotten the cookbook yet, but I've heard it is amazing.
