Have you ever read a blog that makes you feel crappy about yourself? Well, this isn't that type of blog. I've never hid the fact that I'm unorganized or that I struggle with untimely laziness. If you have the same affliction, you've come to the right place, because Sunday's are now all about the GYST:
To say I fell off the wagon this week would be a bit of an understatement. It was more like I threw myself off the wagon and then rolled down a massive hill, Princess Bride Style:
I started out great with the Spring Reset, and then toward the end of the week I crashed. It wasn't pretty but I'll jump back on this week. I didn't do a lot of running this week due to a pain in my leg that I'm trying to nurse. My to-do list suffered, although I did accomplish my major goal for the week which was getting our garden finished. Everything is planted and now we just give it some loving until it grows!
Clearly I have a lot of work to do to get back on the GYST train, but I'm working on it. No one said getting your shit together was easy. I'm just going to keep going for it!
I'm simplifying our meals this week to correspond with my eating for the Spring Reset. Preparing 2 meals every day last week was just too difficult and not worth it to me. Especially when I ended up farting something horrible from my brussel sprouts, but that's another story. Anyway, we're keeping it simple and I'll be making slight adjustments for my clean eating needs. I feel confident this week in eating will be better!
It's another long week for me at work and so I'm not putting too much on my to-do list in order to keep things realistic. I mean, thinking I'm going to dust after working 12 hours is just stupid. Therefore, I'm giving myself a break on those days, just making sure the dishes get done. It's been so beautiful here lately that it's honestly difficult to be confined inside to do chores! Maybe it will rain this week which will make it easier for me to get shit done.
Like I said before, my running this past week was kind of non-existent, but my leg is feeling better, even after pushing it in a race today. So I feel better about getting back to my previous mileage this week. I also need to get more Jasyoga done this week!

Wednesday: 1 mile speed test
Thursday: 3 miles, Jasyoga
Friday: 5 miles
Saturday: 2-3 miles
Sunday: 5 miles, Jasyoga
