Have you ever read a blog that makes you feel crappy about yourself? Well, this isn't that type of blog. I've never hid the fact that I'm unorganized or that I struggle with untimely laziness. If you have the same affliction, you've come to the right place, because Sunday's are now all about the GYST:
Welcome back to my weekly attempt at getting my shit together! I took a break last week since I had a long weekend and I decided to put the electronics away, and spend time with Josh. I definitely noticed I was a lot more lax at getting stuff done since I had not written it down. Lesson learned, but family will always be my number one priority, as it should be! So let's get this GYST show on the road!
My house is in pretty good shape right now thanks to a little visit from Tara, so this week will be all about maintaining. Maybe with the extra time I could put more effort into this little blog of mine. I have about 12 posts in my draft folder plus 2 race recaps to do before I run another race this weekend. Goodness. While Tara was here I should have gotten her to write some posts for me since she is a blogging machine.
(side note: I have a headache from hell right now, so if any of this makes no sense, that would be why.)
I also don't have it on my calendar, but I have some CE (continuing education), that I need to get done! Every 2 years I have to complete 15 hours of regular CE and 15 hours of live CE to renew my pharmacist's license. Guess who leaves it to the last minute...
One more thing: As you can see, I have it on my to-do list to post some stuff to Ebay this week. If you are interested, I'll be posting some running clothes that I don't wear any more. Holler at me if you want a sneak preview!
Clearly my girls have gotten a hold of my meal plan, but the good news is they totally approve of what I have planned! Please note, I still haven't made that roast that I've had on the Sunday GYST for about 4 weeks now. It's not like it's hard or anything. I've really been eating like shit these days so I'm going to really put an emphasis on fruits and veggies for myself this week.
So I'm supposed to be running the Navy 10 Nautical Miler on Sunday morning. For those of you that don't know how to convert nautical miles to regular miles, this equates to about 11.8 miles. Ordinarily I'd be like, NBD, but considering the longest run I've done in the past few months has been 6 miles...well it will be interesting to say the least. I've upped my minimum daily mileage to 2 miles per day during the Runner's World Run Streak, so I'll be keeping it pretty easy this week to get ready for Sunday. I'll also still be using Jasyoga to supplement my running! Don't forget, you can witness my daily runs on my Instagram account!
