Oiselle Wednesday: Roga Pants

I might be a member of The Oiselle Flock, but I've been wearing Oiselle (pronounced Wa-Zelle) for several years now. Oiselle is a company with a mission I believe in, and running clothes that help me believe in myself. Oiselle Wednesday is a day for reviewing my favorite running fashions and showing you the fit on a 5'7, 130 pound Mommy-body!

Before I start rattling off all the reasons you need the Roga Pants, I wanted to mention something real quick. I received an email asking if Oiselle supplied me with these clothes to review, and the answer is no! I buy all my Oiselle with my own cold hard cash. When you guys end up buying something, I don't get anything, except the excitement from knowing you will love what you are buying! I'm proud to support a company that supports women athletes like Oiselle does!

Now, the moment has arrived: All the reasons you need the much anticipated Roga Pants! I say "much anticipated" because the world was first made aware of the coming of these pants a few months ago on Oiselle's Instagram, and now they are finally here! It's no secret that I have undying love for the Roga Shorts, so naturally I would love the pants...or would I?

Thats just dumb. Of course I love them!! They are ridiculously comfortable and super fly. The material is the same slinky, wicking material as the shorts. The waistband is the exact same waistband that I love in the shorts. It is flat, which helps with the muffin-toppage, if you need help with something like that, or if you have an expanding waistline due to pregnancy.

Differing from the shorts, the pants have 2 excellent size zip pockets on the sides. You could stow all sorts of things in these pockets, from keys to gels to gum to an iPhone 6 plus!

The backside is much like the shorts in that they make your butt look great. No diaper butt, plus the addition of Oiselle logo which is always empowering to me.  Like I do with the shorts, I did size up to an 8 to allow for a loose fit. To be perfectly honest, I wish I could try on the 6 in the pants just to see how fitted they would be, because the pants are very loose on me and I know I'm not losing weight!

While I don't see any reason why you couldn't run in the Roga pants, I did not buy them for that purpose. I bought them to wear for the purpose of life, and wait for it...WORK! I wear navy blue scrubs to work and as soon as I saw the Indigo color, I knew they would make the perfect work pants, especially for how hot it has been in the pharmacy!

At the ankles there are zippers but they don't split the pant legs like some track pants. Instead they just make the ankles more of a flared cut, which I think is cool. It also allows the pants to fit over your shoes if that's a look you might prefer.

The elastic at the ankles also allow for cool looks like the RoGangsta as I like to call it:

The pants come in a rainbow of colors, so a con for these, if I had to give one, is HOW DO YOU CHOOSE?  At $72, they are reasonable for a pant that is so multi-functional. The track pant style is so in right now for daily wear, so you could throw these on with a cute tank and meet your BRF's for coffee.

So were they worth the wait? I'm going to have to say...absolutely. Well done, Oiselle.
