Tiux Compression Socks Review and InstaGiveaway!

Disclaimer: I was provided a pair of compression socks in return for a review. No other compensation was received.  All opinions are my own, as always.

The topic of compression socks always seems to hit a nerve with runners.  You either believe in them, or you don't.  And if you are a believer, you probably have a favorite compression sock that is undoubtedly the best on the market in your opinion.  In all honesty, that was me. I only knew one brand, and that's what I wore.  So when Tiux contacted me about reviewing their socks, I was hesitant.  But the truth is, there were things about my other compression socks that I wasn't loving, so I decided to give them a try.  Turns out I am SO glad I did.  Let's talk about why!

The first thing I noticed about Tiux socks, was the big thing I had been wanting in compression: A padded footbed.  A felt like the skies opened up and I could hear birds singing. No for real. This has been one of my biggest complaints about my other compression socks, so I was instantly thrilled. Immediately, I went for a 3 mile run to test out another issue I had been having with my other socks, HOT SPOTS.  I finished up my run in complete comfort, with no issues any where. Can I get a HECK YEAH?!

I've got a little bit of a condition known as "Chicken Legs", so another issue I face in compression is fit.  I always order the smallest size to account for my baby calves, and I am happy to report the XS in Tiux socks fit perfectly. I am able to get them on easily and the compression around my legs is perfect, like a nice hug for my calves and shins. There is a band around the calf that provides extra stability, and I can truly notice a difference.

Admittedly, I haven't worn my Tiux socks for a super long run yet due to, well not running long right now, but I have worn them for another marathon of sorts:  A 12 hour work shift.  If you didn't know, I am a pharmacist and therefore stand for 12 hours at a time. It's super rough on my legs and I like to wear compression to help my legs. It's amazing how fresh my legs felt with my socks on! I was able to come home that night and get my run streak on with no heavy legs!

When I'm reviewing stuff for you guys, I like to be completely honest and provide any negative feedback as well.  However, I really don't have anything negative to report about Tiux socks. I feel the price point is extremely low at $35, especially with how durable I have found the socks to be. If I had to have one complaint, I guess it would be that I hope more colors will be released!

I do want to share with you a little about Tiux as a company, because everything I read about them makes me like these socks even more.  Please check out more about the company here, but I love that they are able to keep costs low by selling only online.  There are no middlemen and they limit inventory to avoid overstock.  Another thing I LOVE, is that Tiux donates 1% of their revenue to the Mines Advisory Group to help save lives in communities affected by landmines. I love a company that gives back.  And they even will give back to YOU! There is a referral program that allows you to give your friends 10% off, plus $5 off YOUR next purchase! Holla.

So my final thoughts:

  • I love these socks.
  • I want another pair.
  • The company rocks (and they are really patient for how long it has taken me to post this review).
  • I think you should try Tiux too.
