The Sunday GYST XIV

Have you ever read a blog that makes you feel crappy about yourself?  Well, this isn't that type of blog. I've never hid the fact that I'm unorganized or that I struggle with untimely laziness. If you have the same affliction, you've come to the right place, because Sunday's are now all about the GYST:

Hi there party peeps. It's time to celebrate another Sunday and another week of hopefully getting your shit together. Personally, I was kind of a failure this week. Not totally a failure, but not totally a success either. If I were the excuse making type (which I am 79% of the time), I'd say it was a hard week due to my work schedule being all flopped around. But let's just call it like it is...I just didn't get stuff done. And that's okay, because this is a learning process, in that I learn what works and what doesn't. So I learned this week that I don't get shit done when my schedule is flopped around. Moving on...here's what I have planned for this week!

To-Do

If you remember, the one thing I really wanted to get done this past week was cleaning my shower. I'm happy to report that I got that done today, so celebrate! I also got a lot of laundry done and I cleaned out our kitchen pantry which was a huge task. I didn't have that on my to-do list though, so I had to write it in just so I could check it off. Please tell me other people do that? This week my big goal is cleaning out my bathroom cabinet which is probably beyond help. Kind of like in Parks and Recreation when Leslie had Ann over to help get ready for her dinner party and her house was piled with junk from 1982 or something? Yeah, just like that, except nail polish from 1982.

Meal Plan

I don't really have a lot of meals to cook this week but I'm going to make that stuffed pepper soup that I had meant to make a few weeks ago. It comes together so quickly so it's perfect for a night that I work late. Plus it's going to cool down later this week so I think soup is the perfect idea!

Workout

I'll have more about my week in running on Tuesday like I did this week. I will say I did pretty well in terms of my running but I still haven't gotten on that strength train like I had hoped I would. I did do some Jasyoga though, so I'm pleased with myself for doing that. I just found my time kind of limited this week so I did what I could, when I could. 

I might as well keep going with the Leslie Knope theme since I'm basically obsessed with her and Parks and Recreation! I hope you all have a wonderful and productive week! My best advice that I can give since I've started The Sunday GYST, is to pick on main goal and at least get that done. Everything else is icing on the cake!
