Welcome to my blog. I talk all things running, food, and kids! Join my healthy living adventure, and enjoy life!

Have you ever read a blog that makes you feel crappy about yourself?  Well, this isn't that type of blog. I've never hid the fact that I'm unorganized or that I struggle with untimely laziness. If you have the same affliction, you've come to the right place, because Sunday's are now all about the GYST:

Let's skip the whole "Oh my gosh I forgot I had a blog" BS, and just get back into it, shall we? Truth is, I didn't feel like blogging, so I didn't. The End. But now I'm back and I'm in desperate need of GYSTing so here we are. We can chat more this week about what I've been up to.

Blogging isn't the only thing that has fallen off my radar in the past month and a half. We can go ahead and throw in cleaning and cooking into the mix. My energy level has been at an all time low, I'm guessing from the lack of exercise. Hopefully that will change this week, and if it doesn't, I'll inject myself with coffee. I've spent all day today trying to catch up on laundry so that I can keep it in balance this week. I also cleaned out the fridge today in order to get dishes caught up, so I'm really on top of my shit right now. My big task for the week is ridiculously enough, to take some shoes to the post office to mail back. I know. How lazy can one person be?

Meal Plan:

I haven't totally forgotten my goal of cooking four times a week in the past month and a half, but it's probably been more like 2-3 nights a week. I really love finding new recipes for my family, and Whole 30 made it kind of difficult to experiment. This week I'll be sticking to some basics that I know we love just to make the transition back to cooking a little easier! If you have any recipes that you love, please feel free to share them with me!

Work Out:

{ via }

Running and working out have been a huge disaster since we last talked. I intentionally took some time off to allow my knee and hip to recover, but I could have still been doing my Jasyoga and strength work. Alas, I didn't. My half marathon is in 2 weeks, and while my goals have changed, I'm still excited to run! We'll probably chat more about all of this soon, but my runs right now are focusing on the mileage, not the speed, per my fabulous coach, Abby. I'll be adding back the Jasyoga videos and core work this week, while continuing to stretch and foam roll incessantly.

So I guess that's it! I'll be back this week with a look inside my streaking break-up, a new Oiselle Wednesday, and more.

How are you doing with your 2016 goals?
