What I Ate Wednesday #2

Peas and Crayons
I know you all have spent your entire Wednesday dying to know what I ate today.  Don't lie.  You were curious.  I'm also curious about what you ate, so feel free to leave me a link in the comments!  And don't forget to hop on over to Peas and Crayons and see what other bloggers are eating!

That's me chugging my water as usual.  My left eye looks wonky in that picture.  I assure you my eyes are pretty normal.  Except I had to take my contacts out when I got to work because they were blurry.  Come to find out there was somehow mascara on my contacts.  But I digress...

I had my usual coffee and my breakfast as of late:  Chobani with Protein Plus Special K.  I can't get enough of this stuff.  The peach Chobani is amazing.  Please try it for the sake of all humanity.

For lunch I had black beans and rice with salsa and guacamole.  To. Die. For.  Full of protein and fiber and deliciousness.

My old standby snack is pistachios.  I love the effort to crack those nuts :)  It's recommended to eat the pistachios that come in a shell to limit how many you end up eating.  I highly agree with this and find a handful really satisfies any salty craving I might be experiencing.

Dinner was not so healthy but tasty.  I made myself a spinach salad with feta and Greek vinegarette to go with some good old fashioned chicken wings and a roll.

The challenge today for Start Clean 2013 is to eat a salad so there you go!  I actually find myself eating a salad on most days of the week so this was pretty easy for me.

I told myself that I would not have dessert tonight since I had that tasty roll.  I'm feeling good with that bargain and I will resist the dark chocolate.

For real.

No, I really mean it.

Ok, maybe just one bite.
