What I Ate Wednesday #10

Look!  Jenn @ Peas and Crayons is celebrating Green this month!  To me, that means lots and lots of green veggies.  I love me some green veggies!  Plus, it helps me get a point for Spring Bootie Buster!

Get ready for a huge shocker in today's food...

I did not eat Chobani today.

I know right?  Pretty crazy.  

I ate my breakfast on the go this morning because I had my bone mineral density test.  I'll probably talk more about that later, but I don't have osteopenia or osteoporosis!  Anyway, I had gotten a case of Larabars on sale for $3.99 the other day and I've been loving them.  Like, obsession level here.  I also had a banana because they're fun.  

Clearly the best way to celebrate a clean bill of bone health (besides the stress fracture) is Starbucks! I had an iced coffee with cream and sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup.  Yup.  It was a great celebration.

I brought leftovers to work for lunch.  Here's the problem...I left the container in my car for like 3 hours.  It was in the 30's this morning so I thought it would be okay.  Idk.  I just couldn't eat it.  I ate the rice and vegetables but avoided the chicken and eggs.  That didn't satisfy my lunch needs.

So I supplemented with some GREEN!  And white.  I love the combination of avocado and cottage cheese.  Plus the good fat totally fills me up.  Avocadoes are basically the stuff that dreams are made of.  

Here's another combination that I can't live without.  Apples and peanut butter.  This was a Pacific Rose apple and it was amazing.  Crunchy and sweet.  The PB is the new Simple Truth organic peanut butter from Kroger.  It's so delicious, and a lot cheaper than some of the other organic PB's.  Highly recommend it!

More GREEN!  For dinner we had rotisserie chicken, rice, and roasted veggies.  I roasted broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and of course my brussels!  Luckily, I'm the only one that eats the brusssels so I have some leftover for tomorrow.  

I think that's it for today.  I'm full!
