What I Ate Wednesday #19

I'm trying something different today so bear with me! I'm blogging from my phone. Does anyone else do this? Let me know.

I'm a day late on this post so I won't get to link up with Peas and Crayons but please feel free to check Jenn's page out!

I was determined to eat fairly light yesterday because I had a dinner for work to attend. For breakfast, I had an apple and a banana with some SunButter. I was very thankful for my tech, Jessica, who hooked me up with some iced coffee!

Here are my vitamins and supplements that I've been
trying totaking.

disclaimer: I am not a physician nor am I a dietician, but I am a pharmacist. I spent 2 months on nutrition rotations and therefore do have knowledge on this subject matter.

I have never been one to take vitamins due to the fact that I eat a normal and healthy diet. However, my ortho doc had requested I take a multivitamin to incorporate more calcium and vitamin D into my life. I am also taking a probiotic to help my GI issues (gas and bloating). I started taking iron about a month ago when I stopped eating meat. I take biotin to help with my nails that are weak and brittle. Lastly, I take Omega 3 Fish Oil capsules to help fight inflammation.

Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have about my vitamins and supplements!

Please tell me you have been eating the Chobani Flips?! They are such amazing snack. I really love this flavor but I have to say the Key lime pie is STILL my favorite.

I went light for lunch and had some cucumber salad I had made the night before with hummus and Wasa crackers. I owe y'all a garden update, but cucumber salad will abound once my cukes and tomatoes bloom!

I snacked on my favorite Naked Juice and a LaraBar. The cashew cookie flavor is kind of boring. Not gonna lie.

Dinner!!! I got to attend a dinner sponsored by Glaxo Smith Kline with my pharmacy intern at a fancy steakhouse here in Memphis. I enjoyed a couple glasses of Pinot Noir with a salad, salmon, spinach, and Parmesan mashed potatoes. For dessert we had Creme Brûlée which was pretty amazing. Everything was so delicious, but discussing COPD along with the mucus involvement was a little disturbing.

And that was my day!

What was your favorite thing you at today?

Do you ever blog from your phone?
